Your grandfather on the other
side wants to know, what in the hell you’re waiting for? He’s talking about you’re
wish list or bucket list. Do you think you have all the time in the world? Let’s
get going, bust a move, you’re burning daylight! Get the job that you want,
break up with the person you don’t love, go see the places in the world you
wanted to see, start your own business, start having kids, stop smoking, get
that education you always wanted! What the hell are you waiting for?
At the end of your life the
only thing that matters are the relationships you had with others and how you
treated them. If you can master the unconditional love thing, you win the game
in this lifetime. But you’re still in the game. Need to get fired up? Start reading
the obituaries every day. Not only do the good die young, but you’ll be amazed
at how many people die that don’t get to finish what they started. Regrets and
more regrets, you don’t have time to sit around. Your loved ones want you to
get off the couch and get involved with other people that you can share life with
and help.
Consider this a wakeup call. Really,
what are you waiting for? Do I have to do a graph to show you how little time
you have left? Your odds of dying of heart disease or cancer are 1 in 7, suicide
1 in 97, Car crash 1 in 113, killed by a firearm 1 in 358, Lightning strike 1
in 174,426, it goes on and on and on. You don’t have a clue when you’re going
to die and there are certain things you wanted to accomplish in this lifetime.
Your loved ones tell me almost every time I sit down to do a reading. They want
me to ask, what in the hell are you waiting for?
Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock…
