Your Ego would have you believe
that you are the center of the universe and nothing else matters. Ego will tell
you that you can never be too rich and that your problems outweigh all others.
Ego will mess with you thoughts and vision so that you are never good enough
and never happy.
Start by letting it go for five
minutes each day. During this five minutes, think about how you have been blessed
in this life and all of the good things that have happened to you. Think about
those who love or loved you, the joy and happiness that you found in the simple
things you did. Then think about all of the people that have it worse than you.
The people that have just lost a child to cancer, those who lost all of their
belongings in a fire or storm, those who just lost their job and don’t know how
they will feed their family tomorrow. Think of the 400,000 people who will
attempt suicide this year in America.
OK, now we have a little prospective,
things are looking better in our lives. That pain you are having doesn’t feel
near as bad. Your list of haves is better than your have-nots. You can begin to
see rainbow on the path you are following. So while you are in the moment and
before ego takes over again (because it will) write a note to the people that
helped you in this life and love you, so you won’t have any regrets once they
are gone. Medium John Edward says Communicate, Appreciate and Validate the
people in your life who matter most to you.
